2009 - Route 66

A visual history of the motorcycle trip Drina and I took along historic Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. As a national highway, Route 66 was decommissioned in the 1980's, and as a result, it was a bit of a treasure hunt to find our way along its various tributaries. We managed to do this with the aid of history books, specialty publications, and mostly with Google maps and a Garmin GPS.
